Review
This program allows you to access and check easily POP3 email accounts without setting up complex POP3 parameters. This is ideal for quick maintenance of the account such as delete spam or undesirable messages without entering to the conventional POP email client. First of all you need to have a POP email account that can be retrieved in order to read your messages with a client or device that supports POP like Microsoft Outlook or Netscape Mail. You need to know the host name (e.g. pop.gmail.com), port (e.g. port: 995, from incoming Gmail POP3), user name, and password. After configuring your account in the "Edit account settings" window you will be able to preview the first 100 messages of your inbox and you will see if any message is important or spam. The list will contain the next columns: Idx, From, Size, Subject, Date, and To. You can select any message and delete it. Also you can configure session mode for "single session mode" or "multi session mode" for best performance. The program doesn’t make copies of the messages, it just check the message index. To check again the messages you have to connect again. |
